Hi, I’m Aya!
I was born in Hokkaido, Japan, where I ran a successful hair salon for many years.
For over a decade, my appointments were fully booked three months in advance.
I also worked as an instructor and won several contests—those years were incredibly rewarding.
But deep inside, I felt something was missing.
I wanted to touch something more real… something beyond routine.
One thing was clear—I didn’t want to end my journey there.
And now, somehow, I’m living in Malaysia—grateful for the chance to reconnect with my own creative sense.
I truly love and specialize in hair coloring using a patented Japanese technique.
It’s a method I discovered while searching for a way to treat both the scalp and hair with care and respect.
I would be so happy for you to experience it, too.
My English isn’t perfect, but I believe in the power of connection—especially the kind that doesn’t need words.

Hello, my name is Chiaki.
I’ve been working as a hairstylist for over 30 years—so long, in fact, that I’ve lost count.
I began my career in Japan as an assistant, eventually becoming a stylist. Later, I became interested in the world of photo shoots and started again from the assistant level, eventually working as a freelance stylist in the advertising industry.
Driven by a desire for new challenges, I moved to Paris. Starting from scratch, I dedicated myself to developing my own hairstyling aesthetic. After a few years of perseverance, I began receiving opportunities to work for magazines, Paris Fashion Week, and commercial shoots. Although I didn’t have much money, those seven years in Paris were the most fulfilling and exciting of my life.
After returning to Japan, I continued working in fashion photography, and I now live in Malaysia, where I focus mainly on salon work while still taking part in occasional shoots.
With the experience and sensibilities I gained in both France and Japan, I am confident in my skills—especially in haircutting and styling. I truly believe my techniques stand out from other salon stylists.
